Alton Towers Resort celebrates the tenth anniversary of CBeebies Land with a week-long festival in May, featuring a variety of live entertainment and special activities for families.
CBeebies Land Anniversary Celebrations
From May 25 to June 2, Alton Towers Resort invites guests to a week-long celebration held on the front lawns of the park. Attendees will enjoy a colorful array of entertainment that brings the spirit of the CBeebies channel directly to the guests. Event highlights include "CBeebies House Party Live," an exclusive show performed twice daily. It will be hosted by well-known CBeebies personalities such as Evie Pickerill and Joanna Adeyinka-Burford, with special appearances by audience favorites like Mr Maker and Justin Fletcher.
A Variety of Family Activities
In addition to the live shows, visitors can enter the front lawns through a specially constructed festival gate, where a festival with numerous activities awaits them. These include creative workshops where everyday objects are transformed into musical instruments and opportunities to create bubbles of various sizes. Culinary delights are provided by food stands offering a selection of sweet and savory treats such as pizza, mac and cheese, and ice cream sundaes.
News and Expansions in CBeebies Land
Earlier in the year, the resort introduced new characters Bluey and Bingo, who are now joined by their parents Bandit and Chilli as part of the CBeebies family. These characters will also participate in the festivities and perform in the “Big Fun Showtime.” Additionally, the resort announces the upcoming opening of a new sensory room, which will provide a calm environment for guests with additional needs and be equipped with interactive sensory experiences.
