His professional journey led him to Disneyland Paris, where he was offered the position of an urban planner. The Solar Canopy: A Benchmark Project
One of his most significant projects is the solar canopy over the guest parking lot. Completed at the end of 2023, this initiative is noteworthy not only for its size—covering 20 hectares and 11,200 parking spaces—but also for its central role in reducing the ecological footprint of Disneyland Paris. The facility, which produces 36 GWh of electricity annually—enough for a city of 17,400 people—reduces greenhouse gas emissions in the Val d’Europe area by 890 tons of CO2 per year. Additionally, it provides guests with protection from weather elements such as the sun, rain, or snow.
