The Boardwalk Candy Palace in Disneyland Paris now offers a permanent M&M’S® experience. Mars Wrigley and Disneyland® Paris deepen their partnership, immersing visitors on Main Street, U.S.A® in a colorful world of fun and treats. Following a recent renovation, the iconic sweet shop in the Disneyland Park shines in new splendor.
Permanent Highlight at Disneyland Park
Located on Main Street, U.S.A®, the first themed area of the Disneyland Park, the Boardwalk Candy Palace delights sweet lovers of all ages. Over the past few months, the shop underwent a renovation and now features a new M&M’S® experience. This collaboration between Mars Wrigley, a leading confectionery company, and Disneyland Paris, Europe’s top travel destination, started in 2023, blending magic and enjoyment in a unique way. After a temporary M&M’S® activation during the Disney Halloween Festival in Frontierland®, which gave visitors chills, the two brands now establish a fixed location. “We’re proud to offer our guests this new experience in an iconic shop that’s already a favorite,” says Karine Rougale, Director of Corporate Alliances at Disneyland Paris. “M&M’S® fits perfectly into the vibrant, indulgent universe of the Boardwalk Candy Palace, leaving a lasting impression,” she adds.
Flamboyant Design Meets Sweet Variety
The facade of the Boardwalk Candy Palace captures attention with fresh decorative touches. The M&M’S® logo adorns the entrance, an animated diorama enlivens the exterior, and colorful window displays proclaim “All Are Welcome” in the hues of the famous candy. Inside, visitors encounter a flamboyant decor inspired by the renowned Atlantic City Boardwalk and the exploratory magic of the last century. Shells, sweets, and hot air balloon symbols create a distinctive atmosphere. A new fixture with 30 large tubes filled with M&M’S® invites guests to purchase the chocolate lentils by weight as they please. Keen-eyed visitors might even spot flying M&M’S® throughout the shop, adding extra life to the experience.
A Partnership with a Bright Future
The strategic partnership between Mars Wrigley and Disneyland Paris has already brought brands like M&M’S®, Skittles®, Twix®, Snickers®, and Maltesers® to most park shops. The opening of the revamped Boardwalk Candy Palace, sponsored by M&M’S®, marks a significant milestone. This physical touchpoint enhances the visitor experience and offers more immersive opportunities. “We’re excited to launch this new phase of our partnership with Disneyland Paris, bringing guests even more enjoyable and social moments,” emphasizes Victoria Abramova, President and CEO of Mars Wrigley France. “Pleasure, emotion, and fun connect our brands and drive the success of this collaboration,” she notes.
