Last weekend, 75 seriously ill children from across Europe, joined by their families, immersed themselves in the enchanting world of Disneyland Paris. Celebrating World Wish Day 2025, the park delivered three unforgettable days filled with vibrant music, heartwarming encounters, and pure Disney magic.
Vibrant Moments at the Disney Music Festival
The weekend pulsed with the rhythm of the new Disney Music Festival, where children danced and sang alongside their favorite characters. A standout moment unfolded on Saturday morning during a bespoke breakfast show crafted for the young guests. Tiana, Judy Hopps, Mirabel, Miguel, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse invited the children to unleash their inner heroes. The performance filled the room with laughter and cherished memories, creating an atmosphere of boundless joy.
Warm Welcome at Disney Newport Bay Club
On Friday, the Disney Newport Bay Club opened its doors with a heartfelt reception. Disney VoluntEARS, a dedicated team of volunteers, greeted the families with warmth and guided them throughout the weekend. Their commitment ensured the children could fully experience the park’s most beloved attractions and shows, setting the stage for an adventure brimming with happiness.
Eve’s Shining Moment with Sam Ryder
For Eve from London, a lifelong dream came to life. Singing and dancing on stage with musician Sam Ryder, she found a moment of pure exhilaration. “This will forever be a treasure in my memories,” she shared with delight. Her performance stood out as a radiant highlight, making World Wish Day 2025 truly extraordinary.
Disneyland Paris: A Beacon of Hope
Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, captured the park’s mission: “It fills us with pride to bring moments of wonder to children and their families, especially when they need it most.” This dedication shines year-round. Disneyland Paris welcomes over 1,000 seriously ill children annually from more than 40 organizations across France and Europe. Since 1980, Disney has fulfilled the wishes of over 165,000 children worldwide, including more than 20,000 at Disneyland Paris.
