During Earth Month, Disneyland Paris dedicates efforts to environmental education, with a focus on engaging youth and children through interactive activities aimed at appreciating and protecting nature.

Initiatives for Environmental Education

Disneyland Paris, renowned for its commitment to social projects, collaborated with Secours Populaire français this April to organize special activities for young people. These events aim to enhance awareness of environmental protection and introduce the importance of nature to youth.

Outdoor Experiential Learning

One of the highlights was a nature walk at the Disney Hotel Cheyenne. During this tour, children engaged in discovering local flora and fauna. The session included identifying the songs of birds such as the chiffchaff and the chaffinch. This auditory exploration was complemented by experiences with aromatic plants in Rémy's vegetable garden, offering participants a sensory journey through nature’s diversity.

Tours through Disneyland

Youngsters had the opportunity to view Disneyland Park from a unique perspective. A tour led by the park's landscaping team showcased the careful selection and significance of plant species across various theme areas. From the mystical trees in Frontierland to the exotic plants in Adventureland, the tour highlighted how plant settings are strategically used to create inviting and educational environments.

Engagement at the Hospital

Activities extended beyond the park, including visits to the Bullion hospital by Disney VoluntEARS. They conducted gardening workshops and sensory treasure hunts for the children there. These efforts were complemented by a visit from Mickey Mouse, adding an extra touch of joy and magic to the children’s day.
