A new family roller coaster, inspired by the popular story “100% Wolf,” will open in summer 2025. This attraction is part of a comprehensive expansion plan for the park, which includes new themed areas and additional attractions.

Spectacular Rides Over the Lake

The new family roller coaster will feature numerous thrilling elements, including rides over Holiday Park’s lake. Special features like an open end of the roller coaster track, called a “spike,” and a backwards ride will add extra excitement. Bernd Beitz, Germany Director of Holiday Park Operator Plopsa, emphasized: “This new attraction bridges the gap between our indoor kiddie coaster and our thrill coasters.” With an investment of 11 million euros, the park aims to create a versatile experience for guests of all ages. The roller coaster, developed by German manufacturer Gerstlauer, stretches over 760 meters and brings the “100% Wolf” story to life. Coen Nieuwenstein from Gerstlauer expressed his excitement about the collaboration: “We are grateful to be part of the team realizing this family coaster and the beautiful new area in Holiday Park.”

100% Wolf: A New Adventure for Holiday Park

The “100% Wolf” story has already gained many fans through two series seasons on TOGGO on SUPER RTL and a successful movie. In 2024, a new film will hit cinemas, continuing the adventures of Freddy and his friends. The plot revolves around Freddy, who transforms into a cute poodle instead of a fearsome werewolf under the full moon. This blend of mystery, humor, and adventure conveys the message that everyone has the potential to be a hero.

Part of a Comprehensive Investment Plan

The investments for 2025 are part of a comprehensive 80 million euro master plan for Holiday Park Germany. This summer, the “Greenville Bus” and “Blinky's Soapbox” will be opened. In 2025, a joyful themed ride featuring the Smurfs, the completion of the Blinky Bill themed area “Greenville Town” with another attraction, and the new 100% Wolf family roller coaster will follow. Starting in 2026, the park will be expanded with the major Tomorrowland attraction, featuring a spectacular roller coaster and a themed area aimed specifically at adults and teenagers. Additionally, 40 million euros will be invested in a new water park, offering themed pools and water slides.
