In the summer of 2024, Holiday Park Germany will expand its range of attractions with an exciting new theme world: The adventures of Blinky Bill, Australia’s most beloved koala, are coming to the park. This addition is set to become a highlight, especially for families. Adjacent to the famous bigFM Expedition GeForce roller coaster, a vibrant world based on the internationally acclaimed TV series is emerging.
Opening and Planning
At the grand season opening on March 23, Holiday Park announced the creation of a new themed area, scheduled for completion in two phases by 2025. Blinky Bill, the fluffy koala and star of the eponymous Australian children’s TV series, will be at the heart of this new part of the park. The character, who has delighted children worldwide for over ninety years, will be brought to life in a theme park for the first time.
The New Attractions
The first phase of the project includes two attractions: “Blinky's Soapbox Cars” offers a fast-paced ride through the Australian Outback, while the “Greenville Bus” allows visitors to view Blinky Bill’s hometown of Greenville from a bird's eye perspective. These attractions are designed for the whole family and will open in the summer of 2024.
Future Expansions
The second phase of construction will add a third attraction and comprehensive theming of the area. Moreover, this expansion is part of an ambitious 80 million Euro master plans, which includes not only new attractions within Holiday Park but also a water park in Haßloch. Planned projects include a cooperation with the world-renowned festival giant Tomorrowland and a themed ride to the Smurfs.

Beyond the new attractions, the park entices with special events during the Easter holidays, such as the WAWI Easter Egg Hunt and meetings with the Easter Bunny, establishing the park as an attractive destination for family outings.
