Movie Park Germany is gearing up for the Halloween Horror Festival 2025 and will hold a chilling monster casting on June 28. From September 27 to November 9, the Horrorwood Studios will come alive with undead creatures. Aspiring scare actors aged 18 and over can apply to terrify guests with their eerie performances.
Terrifying Casting for Horror Houses
On June 28, 2025, Movie Park Germany will open its gates at 6:30 p.m. for a unique casting event at the staff entrance in Bottrop-Kirchhellen. The park is seeking performers aged 18 and older to haunt guests in themed horror houses during the Halloween Horror Festival, running from September 27 to November 9. Applicants must register in advance via email at hr@moviepark.de and bring a non-costumed headshot and a printed resume on the casting day. The meeting point is located approximately 400 meters past the main entrance at Warner Allee 1. Candidates should ideally be available for all event dates to bring the darkest nightmares to life in the Horrorwood Studios.
Transforming into Monstrous Beings
The casting kicks off with a creative challenge: participants transform into terrifying creatures under the guidance of seasoned “veteran monsters.” They may bring their own makeup, brushes, or costumes, but the park provides makeup supplies on-site. Those without costumes are advised to wear old clothes, as the transformation process can get messy. After their makeover, candidates showcase their scare skills in one of the horror houses, aiming to impress the team with their spine-chilling presence.
Family-Friendly Kinderhalloween
As Germany’s number one family theme park, Movie Park Germany ensures fun for younger guests in 2025 with its Kinderhalloween. The park is looking for staff aged 16 and older who enjoy working with children. Their tasks include supervising activities like face painting, pumpkin carving, and arts, crafts, and games. Applications can be submitted through the online form at movieparkgermany.de/jobs. A separate casting for these roles will be held to select the right candidates for young visitors.
