Phantasialand welcomes its visitors with a fresh attraction: Avoras, a transformed climbing tower, now shines in the Fantasy theme area. This unique structure offers a multitude of climbing options and impresses with a prehistoric wooden bird as its central element.

The Avoras Attraction

In the fantasy-themed world of Phantasialand, a previously unused ski slope has been transformed into an impressive climbing attraction. Avoras captivates with rich decorations and various climbing elements such as slides, nets, ropes, and play equipment. The imposing prehistoric bird, made of wood, stands at the heart of the attraction, visible from afar.

Location and History

Avoras occupies the former site of the bicycle carousel Wolke's Luftpost, which was located next to the entrance of the Würmling Express. This family attraction has since found a new location. Dutchman Gert Eussen, responsible for the design, stepped into the shoes of the deceased house designer Eric Daman.

Design and Inspiration

The design of Avoras was inspired by the surrounding theme world of Wuze Town, which opened its gates in 2002. Eussen took on this task with the goal of creating a harmonious and innovative design. Construction began in the summer of 2023, and by autumn, it was clear what Phantasialand intended with this new attraction.

Development and Opening

Originally planned for December, the opening of Avoras ultimately took place in March 2024. This delay allowed Phantasialand to perfect the attraction in every detail and offer visitors an unforgettable experience.

Special Features of Avoras

Avoras invites you to explore hidden paths in the Wuze Valley, climb dizzying heights, and discover wonderful viewpoints. The interactive installations encourage exploration and offer various ways to reach the sky above Wuze Valley. The climbing tower symbolizes the majestic appearance of the giant bird Avoras, which, according to legend, watches over Wuze Town.

Conclusion

With Avoras, Phantasialand expands its offerings with an attraction that not only impresses with its creativity and unique design but also serves as a new landmark for adventure seekers and families. Avoras promises to become a popular meeting spot for visitors of all ages who seek thrills and want to experience the park's fantasy world in a new way.
