PortAventura World has partnered with Worldcoo to promote the Dreams Village project of the PortAventura Foundation. This initiative offers families of children with serious illnesses free stays at the resort. Visitors can now contribute through micro-donations at the park’s sales points. The project not only provides accommodation but also allows families to enjoy the park’s diverse attractions, offering them a valuable break from their daily challenges.
The partnership between PortAventura World and Worldcoo focuses on supporting Dreams Village, a key initiative of the PortAventura Foundation. The goal is to provide children with serious health issues and their families with unforgettable experiences and a respite from medical treatments. This collaboration ensures that the project’s funding is broadened by actively involving park visitors.
Easy Donation Option for Visitors
At the park’s physical sales points, guests have the option to round up their card payments. This simple gesture allows them to make a small donation with each purchase. The collected micro-donations go directly to the Dreams Village project of the PortAventura Foundation. In this way, visitors help secure the future of this special initiative and enable more families to enjoy a much-needed break. This method makes it easy for people, even those on a tight budget, to contribute while enjoying their day at the park.A Project with Significant Impact
Since its launch in 2019, Dreams Village has been a beacon of hope for many. Each year, nearly 400 families with children and teenagers aged 4 to 17 benefit from a free stay. The 10 villas, each accommodating up to six people, are designed to provide comfort and a sense of security. In addition to accommodation, families gain access to the three theme parks: PortAventura Park, Caribe Aquatic Park, and Ferrari Land. A volunteer team from the Foundation also organizes special activities to make the stay unforgettable and bring joy to the children. To date, over 7,000 people have benefited from this project. It offers not only a physical escape but also emotional support and togetherness during difficult times.Careful Selection by Experts
Families are selected by a medical committee composed of professionals from the renowned hospitals Vall d’Hebron, Sant Joan de Déu, and Niño Jesús in Madrid. This process ensures that the support reaches those who need it most. The experts carefully review the medical backgrounds to ensure a fair and needs-based allocation of the stays.Voices on the Collaboration
