A Call of the Wild at LEGOLAND
The upcoming season at LEGOLAND Holiday Village promises to be an extraordinary experience as the park expands its accommodation offerings with the brand-new Forest Adventure Lodge™ and the themed restaurant “Hungry Bear.” These new openings bring the fascination of the wilderness directly to Bavaria, providing the perfect setting for this year's competition theme.
The LEGOLAND Family Challenge: A Contest for Creatives
Since 2019, the Family Challenge has been an integral part of LEGOLAND's activities. This year's motto is “Buzzing and Humming in LEGOLAND – Build Your Dream House in Nature.” Families have until January 28th to express their creativity in LEGO form and submit their works. The top 50 entries will be showcased on February 15th on the official LEGOLAND website, followed by a public vote.
Excitement on Leap Day: Announcement of Winners
February 29, 2024, a special leap day, will not only be a reason to celebrate for those with birthdays. On this day, LEGOLAND will announce the winners of the challenge, who will be rewarded with extraordinary prizes, including a stay at the newly opened Forest Adventure Lodge.
Additional Highlights of the Challenge
A special feature this year is the Super-Vote by LEGOLAND park mascot Dragon Olli, who will award an additional model alongside the audience winners. If the previous year's winners are among the top 5, a sixth winner will be crowned. The prizes include a visit to the park and an exclusive award ceremony in the model-building workshop, making participation even more attractive.

LEGOLAND model builders, including Marcel Maier, are eagerly awaiting the creative submissions: “After various themes in previous years, we are excited to see the LEGO builds and forest animals submitted this year.” Currently, the model builders are busy outfitting the Forest Adventure Lodge with LEGO models of forest and meadow animals to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.
