On March 29 and 30, 2025, the Dutch-themed area of Europa-Park will transform into a vibrant celebration of Dutch culture and springtime cheer. Visitors can look forward to a weekend filled with diverse activities and authentic performances, inviting everyone to experience the lively charm of the Netherlands up close in the popular freizeitpark.
A Celebration of Dutch Culture
A rich program awaits: A food truck will serve fresh stroopwafels and aromatic coffee, offering a true taste of Dutch delight. Lively walking acts and animations will bring extra energy to the themed area. Dance highlights will steal the show: On both Saturday and Sunday, the TALENT ACADEMY will perform a spring dance at 2:00 PM, followed by the Europa-Park Ballett, which will turn the area into a stage of joy with the Stadtteiltanz at 3:30 PM.
Authentic Traditions and Craftsmanship
Two cheese carriers from Alkmaar will showcase the time-honored tradition of cheese carrying, reminiscent of their hometown’s famous market. An artist will demonstrate the art of pottery at the wheel, decorating her creations in the traditional Delfter-Blau style. Nearby, a klompenschnitzer will impress with skillful craftsmanship and an exhibit of intricately carved wooden shoes. Adding a nostalgic touch, a photo exhibition will display historical images from the Dutch-themed area in honor of the jubilee year.
Activities for Young and Old
For young guests aged five to twelve, a creative crafting station will complement the mini-scooters: They can paint small wooden tulips in bright colors and take a piece of Holland home. Puzzle enthusiasts will enjoy a crossword station—those who solve the Dutch-themed riddle will earn a sweet reward.
