The historic Schlosspark of Europa-Park hosted the exclusive “Mauritia Mack by LEONARDO” jewelry event under radiant summer skies. For 15 years, the family businesses Europa-Park and LEONARDO have supported social children’s aid projects through their charity jewelry collection. This year, they donated 14,000 euros to the “Patio13 - Education for Street Children” project in Colombia.
Empowering Education in Colombia
The “Mauritia Mack by LEONARDO” charity collection supports targeted children’s aid initiatives. During this year’s event, Mauritia Mack, alongside Bianca and Oliver Kleine and Jürgen Mack, presented a 14,000-euro donation to Dr. Thomas Schliermann. The “Patio13 - School for Street Children” project in Medellín primarily aids girls living on the streets by providing educational opportunities. The initiative aims to offer a solid foundational education, enabling these children to resume their schooling. Mauritia Mack emphasized: “In these challenging times, it’s vital to support children facing extraordinary hardships. Education plays a central role, offering perspective and stability. Access to knowledge empowers street children in Colombia to lead self-determined lives.”
15 Years of Social Responsibility
The partnership between Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park, and LEONARDO, Europe’s leading lifestyle brand for glass and jewelry, embodies quality and social commitment. Since the charity initiative began 15 years ago, over 300,000 euros have been raised for national and international children’s aid projects. A shared passion for innovation and social responsibility unites the two family businesses, further strengthened by the close friendship between the Mack and Kleine families.
Unique Gift for the 50th Anniversary
To mark Europa-Park’s 50th anniversary, Bianca and Oliver Kleine gifted the Mack family a one-of-a-kind glass-crafted roller coaster, engraved to commemorate the milestone. This artwork symbolizes the deep friendship and successful collaboration between the two family businesses. Roland Mack expressed his gratitude: “On behalf of the entire Mack family, I thank you for this unique piece. We deeply value our collaboration with Bianca and Oliver Kleine. As two longstanding family businesses, we share a passion for quality and innovation while promoting social responsibility. The glass roller coaster, received for Europa-Park’s 50th anniversary, perfectly represents this and will hold a special place in the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort.”
