Europa-Park in Rust celebrated its 50th anniversary with a unique star rally, bringing together families from across Europe. With eco-friendly train travel, guests enjoyed unforgettable days in Germany’s largest theme park and the Rulantica water world, filled with attractions, shows, and culinary delights.
Celebrating Five Decades of Europa-Park
For its 50th anniversary, Europa-Park invited 15 families from Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, the Benelux countries, and England to spend a weekend at the Erlebnis-Resort. Winners of a grand giveaway stayed in one of the 4-star Erlebnishotels. Deutsche Bahn, Swiss Federal Railways, and SNCF Voyageurs supported the climate-neutral journey, ensuring an environmentally conscious trip to Rust. This initiative highlighted the park’s commitment to sustainability and European collaboration.
Adventures Across 17 European Themed Areas
The Mack family personally welcomed the guests before they explored the park’s 17 themed areas. Over 100 attractions, authentic architecture, and regional cuisine showcased Europe’s diversity. The new Croatia themed area stood out, with the thrilling Multi Launch Coaster “Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac” delivering excitement and the family-friendly “GRAND PRIX EDventure” ensuring fun for all. Each area invited guests to experience Europe’s cultural richness in a unique way.
Captivating Shows and Refreshing Rides
International artists dazzled audiences at Ed’s Parade and in the new horse stunt show “Die Rückkehr des Zorro.” On sunny days, the water coasters “Poseidon” and “Atlantica SuperSplash” provided refreshing thrills. These attractions and performances underscored Europa-Park’s blend of action and entertainment, creating lasting memories for the families during the anniversary celebration.

The Rulantica water world complemented the experience with exciting slides, a large wave pool, and the Wild River. Families of all ages enjoyed carefree water fun, rounding off the anniversary weekend.
