In Rust, Europa-Park introduces a thrilling new attraction: Silver Lake City expands the Camp Resort with authentic Western Houses, a vibrant buffet restaurant, and exciting activities like minigolf and bull riding. By 2026, a lodge and a children’s house will complete this unique Western experience.
Western Flair at Camp Resort
Silver Lake City transforms Europa-Park’s Camp Resort into an immersive Western paradise. Nestled around a picturesque lake, 36 new Western Houses accommodate four or six guests each. Twenty-two smaller houses feature a cozy outdoor seating area, while 14 larger ones offer two sleeping areas and a spacious terrace. Each house includes a private bathroom, air conditioning, mini-fridge, flat-screen TV, safe, bed linens, towels, and hairdryer. Additionally, 68 new caravan comfort pitches with water, wastewater, and electricity connections complement the existing options of covered wagons, log cabins, and tipi tents. In total, 217 pitches are now available, with 10 for vehicles up to seven meters and 58 for those up to nine meters. By 2026, Silver Lake City will provide accommodations for over 2000 guests, ranging from tents and caravans to luxurious Western-style rooms.
Dining with Western Charm
At the heart of the 2025 expansion lies the Diner Station, a buffet restaurant designed like a historic Western train station with 275 seats, including authentic train carriages. It serves daily breakfast and dinner buffets featuring burgers, salads, grilled chicken, and potato wedges. Next door, the Wild Horse Bar, a rustic saloon with 120 seats, offers freshly tapped beer, cocktails, and spirits. Both venues boast outdoor terraces with an additional 200 seats and span approximately 2600 square meters of floor space with 15000 cubic meters of gross volume. Guests can unwind with a game of billiards in the bar.
Activities for All Ages
Silver Lake City captivates with diverse leisure offerings. A locomotive-themed adventure playground, complete with train carriages, delights younger visitors. The 650-square-meter Gold Rush Golf minigolf course features 12 desert-style holes. Adventurous guests can try bull riding, while campfires and the bathing lake invite relaxation. On weekends, live music, lasso shows, and performances by Europa-Park artists create unforgettable moments.
A Heartfelt Commitment
Starting in 2026, Silver Lake City will become a place of support. In partnership with the “Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V.,” the “Kleine Helden” children’s house will open for families with children who have overcome cancer. Five spacious apartments will accommodate four-person families, offering a cost-free retreat. The Swiss musician DJ BoBo serves as the patron for this initiative.
Expansions Planned for 2026
Next year, Silver Lake City will grow further. The Riverside Western Lodge will add 120 rooms with 526 beds, covering about 7700 square meters of floor space and 24000 cubic meters of gross volume. A brewery producing 30000 liters of beer annually will open, featuring a tasting room with views of the brewing process, and its beer will be available at the Wild Horse Bar. A new YULLBE GO location will introduce interactive fun with cutting-edge technology. New sanitary facilities in the camping area and authentic Western-style building facades will complete the enhancements.
Enhanced Infrastructure for Visitors
A new access road and approximately 700 additional parking spaces streamline arrival. A parking garage with 580 spaces, 15000 square meters of floor space, and a 3000-square-meter metal facade adjoins Silver Lake City, equipped with a 499 kWp photovoltaic system. Technical facilities include a building with about 1000 square meters of floor space and 5100 cubic meters of gross volume, powered by two heat pumps and two gas boilers, each delivering roughly one megawatt. These investments reflect Europa-Park’s long-term vision to deliver exceptional experiences.
