On April 28, 2025, Europa-Park unveiled a dazzling highlight for its 50th anniversary: the Europa-Park Zeppelin. In a vibrant ceremony alongside the Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei (DZR), the freizeitpark showcased this elegant airship, now adorned with the cheerful mascots Ed and Edda, gracefully gliding over the Bodensee region, Allgäu, and Voralpenland.
A Radiant Anniversary Symbol
The Zeppelin NT shines as a beacon of celebration for Germany’s largest freizeitpark. “For 50 years, courage, innovation, and the passion to delight people have defined Europa-Park. With the Zeppelin, we join the Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei to create a breathtaking spectacle above southern Germany,” declared owner Roland Mack. This milestone builds on a decade-long partnership with the DZR. “The Europa-Park and Zeppelin NT are Baden-Württemberg’s tourism gems, delivering unforgettable moments together. Thanks to the Mack family for their trust,” added DZR Managing Director Eckhard Breuer.
Unforgettable Views from Above
In just a few days, pending approval from the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, the 75-meter-long Zeppelin NT, with its 8,425-cubic-meter volume, will launch passenger flights. Cruising at 70 km/h at 300 meters altitude, it offers stunning vistas. Expansive panoramic windows and a spacious cabin with a direct view into the cockpit provide relaxed comfort, transforming sightseeing into a captivating journey over southern Germany’s picturesque landscapes.
A Sky Full of Adventures
With the Europa-Park Zeppelin, the DZR fleet now boasts three airships, expanding its scenic flight offerings. Beyond the Bodensee, the Zeppelin will soar over Munich, Frankfurt, and Nordrhein-Westfalen. Until November 2025, it will grace southern Germany’s skies, with a special appearance above Europa-Park from July 11 to 14, 2025, enchanting visitors with its serene presence.
