New Mobility Rally 2025 at Europa-Park: Premiere

On June 25, 2025, Europa-Park in Rust will serve as the starting point for the inaugural New Mobility Rally, organized by Motor Presse Stuttgart. Beneath the striking structure of the “Silver Star” roller coaster, a 200-kilometer route for innovative vehicles will commence, winding through the Alsace region. This event marks a highlight of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Germany’s largest theme park.

Anniversary Highlight with Innovative Mobility

As part of its 50th anniversary in 2025, Europa-Park will host the New Mobility Rally, organized by the publications “auto motor und sport” and “MO/VE.” “In our jubilee year, we are thrilled to collaborate with Motor Presse Stuttgart to set new impulses and spark enthusiasm for innovative mobility across generations,” says Ann-Kathrin Mack, managing partner. The event combines driving enjoyment with insightful discussions about the future of mobility, appealing to car enthusiasts of all ages.

Starting Line with Cutting-Edge Vehicles

The rally will kick off at 8:30 a.m. on June 25 on Europa-Park’s visitor parking lot. Electric and hybrid models, including the Audi A6 Avant e-tron performance, XPENG G6 AWD Performance, Opel Grandland Electric GS, Skoda Elroq Respectline, and Lexus RZ, will tackle the course. “It’s about consistency, not speed,” emphasizes Birgit Priemer, editor-in-chief of “auto motor und sport.” Creatively designed challenges will test the drivers’ skill, discipline, and improvisation.

Scenic Route through Alsace and Vosges

The approximately 200-kilometer route will begin at 7:31 a.m. on June 25 with the first vehicle, leading from Rust through the picturesque Alsace region and into the Vosges mountains. A coffee break is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Parc Tellure - Mine d’Argent in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines. Following a lunch from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Restaurant Amitié - La Cuisine du Château, the rally will continue over the remaining 70 kilometers. The first vehicle is expected to cross the finish line at Europa-Park around 3:45 p.m., where visitors can admire the state-of-the-art vehicles.

Two Days of Exciting Events

The New Mobility Rally spans two days. On June 24, the event will begin with accreditation from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Hotel Krønasår, followed by a driver briefing at 7:00 p.m. in the Vineta room and a get-together from 7:30 p.m. at Restaurant Tre Kronen. On June 25, the rally will conclude with an awards ceremony starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Confertainment Center. Additionally, the 90-minute film “GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE,” featuring the popular mascots Ed and Edda, will be presented as part of the anniversary and will hit cinemas in summer 2025.

Participation and Visitor Information

Those interested can still register for the rally, taking place from June 24 to 25, 2025, as a few spots remain available. The participation fee is 549 euros for the two-day event. Visitors can witness the start at 8:30 a.m. and the finish on June 25 at Europa-Park’s visitor parking lot, where a showcase of cutting-edge vehicles will captivate attendees. After the finish, guests can explore the theme park and soak up the rally atmosphere.
