On Monday, June 23, 2025, the Europa-Park hosted the ceremonial groundbreaking for the “Europa-Park Kinderhaus Kleine Helden.” Wieland Schwarzkopf, President of the Verband der Deutschen Vergnügungsanlagenhersteller e.V. (VDV), presented a 5,000-euro donation to Roland Mack, owner of Europa-Park, and Miriam Mack, ambassador of the Kinderhaus. This initiative supports children recovering from cancer and their families with memorable experiences.
Support for Families at Kinderhaus
The “Europa-Park Kinderhaus Kleine Helden” will open in spring 2026, offering children who have recovered from cancer and their families a complimentary stay at Europa-Park and the Rulantica water world. Located in the park’s Silver Lake City, five accessible apartments, each accommodating four people, will be integrated into a nature-inspired leisure program designed to promote relaxation and joy. The VDV’s donation helps make this stay truly special.
Festive Launch with Prominent Partners
The groundbreaking ceremony featured a performance by children from the TALENT ACADEMY, creating a celebratory atmosphere. Under the patronage of musician DJ BoBo, the project is being realized in collaboration with the “Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” The Syltklinik and the Deutsche Kinderkrebsstiftung provide professional support to ensure families receive the best possible care.
Dedicated On-Site Care
Retired Europa-Park employees, volunteering their time, will care for the families at the Kinderhaus. Their commitment fosters a warm environment where guests can recharge and find renewed strength.
